Sheshory Village
Sheshory is a picturesque Huzul village that stretches several kilometres along Pistynka river and is surrounded by glades, wild herb fields and forests. Although Pistynka originates in the mountains its water is rather warm and perfect for swimming! The inhabitants of Sheshory managed to save Huzul melodies, traditions and crafts such as wood carving and weaving and now eagerly share their skills with guests of the village. It is the site for the oldest Huzul temple – Horishnya tserkva. As Huzuls say, mountains are flowing with milk and honey, - it is a Carpathian interpretation of a paradise. And those who visited this place say: “Shesory is a paradise”.
